This Privacy Policy explains how Wayland Holdings LLC (“Wayland Holdings,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with Quantery and our websites. Quantery is a product of Wayland Holdings LLC, a Texas limited liability company.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to information we handle through our websites (including quantery.app) and our license, activation, and software-update services. It does not apply to third-party services you choose to use with Quantery (such as your own market-data or AI provider), which are governed by their own policies.

2. What stays on your machine

Quantery is designed so your research never leaves your device. We do not receive or store:

• your theses, screens, scans, backtests, or results;
• the API keys you configure for market data or AI providers;
• the market or fundamentals data you download using your own keys.

This information is stored locally by the application on your computer under your control.

3. Information we collect

a. Purchase information

When you buy a License or Subscription, our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, processes your purchase and collects the information needed to complete it (such as your name, email address, billing details, and country for tax). Payment card details are handled by the payment processor; we do not receive or store full card numbers. We receive order and customer records (such as your name, email, product purchased, order identifiers, and subscription status) to fulfill the order, issue and support your license, and meet legal and tax obligations.

b. License activation & updates

When the Software activates a license, validates it, or checks for updates, it may transmit limited technical information to our services — such as your license key, a device identifier, product/version, and IP address — so we can verify your entitlement and deliver the correct update. IP addresses may be processed transiently by our infrastructure provider as part of ordinary request logging.

c. Support communications

If you email us for support, we receive your email address and the contents of your message so we can respond.

d. Website usage

Our website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. Our hosting provider may process standard, aggregated request/security logs (such as IP address and user agent) to serve and protect the site. We do not use advertising trackers and keep any analytics to a minimum.

4. How we use information

• to sell, deliver, and support your License and Subscription;
• to issue, validate, and revoke license keys and deliver software updates;
• to process payments, renewals, and taxes, and to prevent fraud and abuse;
• to respond to your inquiries and provide support;
• to send you transactional messages (for example, receipts, renewal and price-change notices, and important service notices); and
• to comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

5. Service providers

We rely on a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf, including:

• Lemon Squeezy — merchant of record and payment, billing, and subscription processing;
• Cloudflare — website hosting, DNS, and delivery of our license and update services;
• Email/support tools — to receive and respond to your messages.

These providers are permitted to use information only to provide services to us. Your use of the purchase flow is also subject to Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy.

6. Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information: to the service providers described above; to comply with law, legal process, or lawful requests; to protect our rights, safety, and property or those of others; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

7. Data retention

We retain purchase, license, and support records for as long as needed to provide the Services, support your license, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations, after which we delete or anonymize them.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect the information we hold. Licenses are cryptographically signed and verified, and paid update artifacts are served only to entitled licenses. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to appeal a decision. Because Quantery is local-first, most of your data is already under your control on your own device; for the limited information we hold (such as purchase and license records), you can exercise your rights by contacting us at support@quantery.app. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity.

10. Children

Quantery is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. U.S.-based service

Wayland Holdings LLC is based in Texas, USA, and Quantery is operated from and intended for users in the United States. Information we handle is processed in the United States. If you access Quantery from outside the United States, you understand your information will be processed in the U.S.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Changes are effective when posted.
